Friday Funny: Josh Groban Sings Kanye’s Tweets

I love Josh Groban. He’s totally adorable in a geeky way (which is the best way) and his voice is amazing.

If you missed his presenting of BBC2’s Never Mind the Buzzcocks over Christmas (which he ended by saying, “I’ve been Josh Groban – and you’ve been profoundly moved”) here is more evidence that he’s pretty damn funny too. Watch as Josh advertises his new album, ‘Josh Groban’s The Best Tweets of Kanye West’ and totally makes up for the €13.99 I spent on his actual new album which has about three songs on it I actually like.

(Sorry, Josh! I still love you though.)

LOVE that. AND he was funny on Glee! (Admittedly, everyone is funny on Glee. I would probably be funny on Glee. And a much better dancer than I am in real life.)

Indeed – even Gywneth (how the hell do you spell her name?) was a laugh on there. Who knew?

LOVE Josh G, not only because he makes music that effectively drowns out all other noise when you turn it up loud (helpful for writers) but also because he makes videos like this. Endless procrastination watching them! 😉

Apparently, he specifically wanted to be an asshole on Glee, which is awesome. I LOVE him singing Kanye’s tweets – I think the one about the fur pillow is my favourite, but I may have to listen again, just to check…

I’ve listened so many times now I can actually sing them all (but please don’t ask me to – save your ears!)

My favourite is the marble conference tables, closely followed by the fur pillows. Oooh, but I also love the bike stores one. It’s so hard to choose! I hope there’s a sequel…!

FYI: He also put a fake cooking program (with him as chef) on his website. One of the ingredients was like grass or something. Not as funny as this but you have to love a guy who is so hell bent on ripping the p— out of himself. 🙂

Oh yes, the marble conference table one is great as well. Hee. I was intermittently laughing about it all day when I first saw it. I’ll have to check out his website.

Ah, go on. Tell me what you think...
