How To Get Snow Falling on Your WP Blog

Everyone loves the snow gently falling on here at the moment, as do I – I wasted at least an half an hour yesterday just playing with it! (After MUCH experimentation it seems to move in the direction that I move my cursor.) And since you lovely folk are asking…

Here’s how to turn on the “snow falling” option on your WordPress.com blog (i.e. the free kind):

  1. Go to Dashboard
  2. Look for “Extras” in the “Appearance” section
  3. Click it
  4. Check the box next to “Snow falling on my blog.”

It’ll be snowing on WordPress until January 4th. If you don’t have WordPress, I’m not sure whether or not Blogger has a similar option, but you know what I’m going to say to you: you should be on WordPress anyway!

Happy blog snowing! x

Thanks for the great tip Catherine, now snowing over on my blog as well. Although being mostly white you don’t notice it until it wafts over the header image.
    Thanks again.

Ah, go on. Tell me what you think...
