Catherine. I just finished reading Backpacking that I received free on a whim from Kindle books. I’m an avid, selective reader…and 84…so I don’t say this lightly: You are a very talented writer with a great deal of potential. You arrange your words in a way that captivate the seasoned reader who is looking for articulate writers with meaningful thoughts to convey that they themselves cannot convey. I found your book a wonderful respite from the tedious presence of everyday life that seems to persist. It was very, very funny…and alive. It reminded me very much of my daughter’s dangerous exploits. Your book ended much too soon for me. Thanks for all the effort it took for you to put it together.
